March 2007 4X4 Weekend

The clubs four wheel drive weekend allowed some of us to see first hand the damage caused by the December - Janaury 06-07 bushfires. Pics 3 to 6 show the regeneration taking place with some amazing colours. The devestation is obvious with pics 22, 23 & 24 showing the location of Number 3 track refuge hut. 25 & 26 are where Craigs Hut used to be. 27 shows Mt Buller taken from Mt Stirling. You can see on the left of the pic just how close the fires came to the village.
